This is right in line with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez\u2019 socialist philosophy, she\u2019s the logical choice to introduce the legislation.&nbsp; Government, not private business, is the only way to ensure prompt and efficient delivery of essential services to women and minorities, whatever the weather might be<br>In other news, the&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/news\/nation\/2019\/01\/29\/polar-vortex-halts-u-s-mail-parts-midwest\/2716080002\/\" target=\"_blank\">Post Office isn\u2019t delivering mail today<\/a>.&nbsp; Mn\/DOT&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.startribune.com\/snowplows-idled-due-to-extreme-cold\/505071672\/\" target=\"_blank\">pulled its snowplows off the road<\/a>.&nbsp; St. Paul&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.spps.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">schools are closed<\/a>&nbsp;and it\u2019s&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.twincities.com\/2019\/01\/29\/minneapolis-st-paul-cold-weather-closures-restaurants-museums-ice-castle\/\" target=\"_blank\">mandatory recycling program<\/a>&nbsp;is suspended.&nbsp; Government workers cannot promptly and efficiently deliver essential services because of the weather.&nbsp;<br>Hmm, maybe we should revisit the concept of government taking over private businesses?&nbsp; Do we really expect union government employees to be climbing power poles in the howling freezing wind in the dead of night?&nbsp; Would that idea work any better than Obama-care or its inevitable successor, Kamela-care?<br>Whatever those guys on the power poles make (and they\u2019re almost all guys), it\u2019s not enough.&nbsp; Whatever those gals in Congress make (and the goofy ones are almost all gals), it\u2019s too much.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>I for one am so happy I&#8217;ve got private-sector power.
