{"id":6729,"date":"2009-11-28T12:58:57","date_gmt":"2009-11-28T17:58:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=6729"},"modified":"2009-11-28T12:58:57","modified_gmt":"2009-11-28T17:58:57","slug":"radio-dazed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=6729","title":{"rendered":"Radio Dazed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>By the way &#8211; posting&#8217;s been zephyr-light over this holiday weekend (although I see Roosh and Doug have contributed &#8211; bully, lads!), and I&#8217;ll confess I needed a bit of a break.<\/p>\n<p>And the show&#8217;s off today, too &#8211; we&#8217;re taking our traditional Thanksgiving day off.\u00a0 I hope you&#8217;re enjoying the &#8220;Best Of&#8230;&#8221; NARNs going on today.<\/p>\n<p>But boy, do we have some fun coming up!<\/p>\n<p>Two weeks from today, on 12\/12, we have a whammajamma double-feature:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Amy Alkon, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.advicegoddess.com\/ag-columns-blog\/newindex.html\">Advicegoddess<\/a> and author of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.advicegoddess.com\/mall\/index.html\">I See Rude People<\/a>, will join us for what promises to be fun <em>and <\/em>impeccably-mannered interview.\u00a0 We&#8217;ll talk about the seeming paradox that a blogger who writes about manners would have a comment section full of so very much ire.\u00a0 But we know how that works, don&#8217;t we?<\/li>\n<li>Also &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.missminnesota.org\/meet.html\">Miss Minnesota 2009, Brooke Kilgarriff<\/a>, will join us on 12\/12, just a few weeks before she jets away to Vegas to take her shot at being Miss America, 2010.\u00a0 We talked with her at the fair, and everyone decided it was so much fun we had to do it again.\u00a0 I may have to get Bogus Doug to brief me on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thisweek-online.com\/2006\/march\/3Idol.html\">her appearance on American Idol back in &#8217;05<\/a> (Sorry, all &#8211; I&#8217;ve never watched it), or maybe we&#8217;ll just get her to sing again (she <em>is <\/em>good).\u00a0 And hopefully <a href=\"http:\/\/www.musicbuildingblocks.com\/\">we&#8217;ll help sell some of her albums<\/a>; it&#8217;s for the Children&#8217;s Miracle Network, which a great cause, natch.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What could possibly top this show?\u00a0 Well, maybe nothing on our watch.<\/p>\n<p>And then again, maybe not&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By the way &#8211; posting&#8217;s been zephyr-light over this holiday weekend (although I see Roosh and Doug have contributed &#8211; bully, lads!), and I&#8217;ll confess I needed a bit of a break.
