SCENE: Mitch BERG is mowing his lawn.\u00a0 He stops to clear some crud from around the blades as Avery LIBRELLE slowly walks up behind him, picking up a flattened pop cup from the sidewalk.\u00a0 LIBRELLE gets behind BERG and throws it at him.\u00a0 It catches the air and planes away from BERG, who notices the sound of it flopping to the ground.<\/p>\n

BERG:\u00a0 (Shakes head wearily)\u00a0 Hey, Avery.\u00a0 What, now?<\/p>\n

LIBRELLE:\u00a0 We’re shutting you down<\/a>!<\/p>\n

BERG:\u00a0 I’m mowing my lawn.\u00a0 On my own property.\u00a0 \u00a0Why so violent?<\/p>\n

LIBRELLE:\u00a0 Oh, yeah?\u00a0 What about when the Tea Partiers yelled at us progressives during the Town Hall meetings in 2009?<\/p>\n

BERG:\u00a0 Individuals expressed anger – but not violence – at events intended to be public dialogues.\u00a0 No GOP leadership called for violence against the opposition…<\/p>\n

LIBRELLE:\u00a0 I am the Resistance!\u00a0 I am going to attack you, because Trump is literally Hitler.\u00a0 \u00a0 So get off your lawn before I kill you<\/a>!<\/p>\n

BERG:\u00a0 Seems a little drastic\u00a0 (Resumes clearing blade<\/em>).<\/em><\/p>\n

LIBRELLE:\u00a0 Besides, you need to know…<\/p>\n

BERG: You know I have surveillance cameras on my yard, and our entire interaction has been taped, right?<\/p>\n

LIBRELLE:\u00a0 \u00a0DON”T YOU DARE!\u00a0 YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO TAPE ME!\u00a0 HOW DARE YOU! (Turns and runs<\/em>).<\/p>\n
