  1. Section 1001 is used when prosecutors can\u2019t prove anything but they found an inconsistency in your statements.\u00a0It was used against Martha Stewart and Scooter Libby, both convicted of lying to investigators even though there was no underlying crime to investigate.<\/li>\n
  2. Nobody should ever talk to the FBI about anything, ever.<\/li>\n
  3. We\u2019ll see if this leads to Trump or his family.\u00a0 At this point, doesn\u2019t sound like much.\u00a0 Sounds like more small fry (remember the guy who pled last month?\u00a0 Never heard of him again).<\/li>\n

Did you notice that the news articles do not contain direct quotes of his purported lies? \u00a0I suspect the \u201clying\u201d is based on a comparison of the Obama Administration\u2019s eavesdropping tapes with the FBI agents\u2019 written notes of their interviews.\u00a0 Who knows what they wrote and whether it\u2019s accurate? This is why Hillary couldn\u2019t be convicted \u2013 they made a point of not asking her on the record and didn\u2019t take notes.<\/li>\n
  5. Prison is not the punishment, the process is the punishment.\u00a0 You must hire an attorney to defend you every day for a year at your own expense. \u00a0If you\u2019ve ever been involved in any sort of litigation, you know how much it weighs on your mind and takes a physical toll, in addition to the financial burden. \u00a0If you don’t fall on the sword, they expand the scope of the threat to go after your family, friends, colleagues. Eventually, they get you to plead to something, anything, just to stop the torture.<\/li>\n
  6. There still is no collusion.\u00a0 Fire Mueller and his whole team.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
