Movie weddings have a scene where the minister says \u201cIf anyone knows a reason why these people should not be married, speak now or forever hold your peace.\u201d\u00a0 Everybody gasps as a pregnant blonde stands up saying \u201cWait . . . you\u2019re marrying him?\u00a0 I\u2019m carrying his baby!\u201d \u00a0The bride bursts into tears and the father of the bride demands: \u201cWhere\u2019s my shotgun?\u201d<\/p>\n
I always thought it was a dumb scene.\u00a0 What if the blonde is mistaken?\u00a0 Or lying?\u00a0 Or a paid actress hired by a groomsman as a practical joke? \u00a0Too bad \u2013 the wedding is off, the groom is dead and Dad is going to prison. \u00a0If there was a good reason to cancel the wedding, it should have been brought up long before we were watching them stand at the altar.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
The real point?:<\/p>\n
That\u2019s the main reason I dislike what\u2019s happening to Roy Moore. \u00a0He might be a perv but the timing is so obviously a political dirty trick that I don\u2019t even care if he is.\u00a0 Democrats and Establishment RINOs should have brought it up long ago.\u00a0 By lying in wait to ambush him, they\u2019ve forfeit the right to demand my moral indignation.<\/p>\n
