First things first:\u00a0 Berg’s 18th Law<\/a> is still in full effect;\u00a0 it’s been mere hours since a man murdered 27 people at Sutherland Springs Baptist Church<\/a>, near San Antonio; anything you read in the media will be crap.<\/p>\n

One thing we\u00a0do\u00a0<\/em>know?\u00a0 Churches in Texas are “gun free zones”.\u00a0 Nobody in that church was legally authorized to carry a firearm to defend themselves or their fellow parishioners.<\/p>\n

Like nearly all mass shootings, it took place in a “gun free zone”.<\/p>\n

Just like David Lillehaug and Nancy Nord Bence like it.<\/p>\n

You post your property “no guns allowed?”\u00a0 I’m not going there.\u00a0 I’m not spending money, I’m not worshipping, I’m not saying “boo”.\u00a0 I will consider them a threat to my safety.<\/p>\n

No exceptions.<\/p>\n

But Wait<\/strong>:\u00a0 What’s this that the mainstream media is pretty roundly ignoring about the attack?\u00a0 The shooter was himself shot by…<\/p>\n

…an armed citizen<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Stephen Willeford managed to shoot Devin Kelley before jumping in another man\u2019s truck and chasing him down,\u00a0the Daily Mail reported.<\/a><\/p>\n

Texas Department of Public Safety chief Freeman Martin said Willeford \u201cgrabbed his rifle and engaged the suspect\u201d after Kelley left the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, where he opened fire with an assault rifle and killed 26 people.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And just as law enforcement teaches about mass shootings these days – if you show a mass shooter any resistance, they usually break off the attack, and either give up or kill themselves.<\/p>\n

Kelley did both<\/a>:<\/p>\n

The man who killed at least 26 people in a Baptist church in a rural Texas town on Sunday died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, Wilson County Sheriff Joe Tackitt told CBS News in an interview on Monday morning.<\/p>\n

Tackitt said gunfire was exchanged between the gunman and two armed citizens during a vehicle chase after the shootings.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The church was a gun-free zone – naturally.\u00a0 \u00a0But the rest of Texas was not.<\/p>\n
