{"id":64701,"date":"2017-10-04T10:54:01","date_gmt":"2017-10-04T15:54:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=64701"},"modified":"2020-07-30T10:05:45","modified_gmt":"2020-07-30T15:05:45","slug":"just-watch-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=64701","title":{"rendered":"Just Watch"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;re barely outside the Berg&#8217;s 18th Law theshold with the Las Vegas shooting.<\/p>\n<p>But buried on paragraph 17 of\u00a0<em>The Guardian&#8217;s\u00a0<\/em>coverage of the atrocity is a hint as to why the story <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/us-news\/2017\/oct\/03\/las-vegas-shooting-girlfriend-marilou-danley-person-of-interest-sheriff\">may well soon disappear from the mainstream media<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Paddock\u2019s motive remains unknown. \u201cThis person may have been radicalised, unbeknownst to us, and we want to identify that source <em>[according to Las Vegas sheriff Joe Lombardo]<\/em>.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Of course, everyone on all sides is racing to show Paddock was with the &#8220;other side&#8221;; some lefty sites are &#8220;reporting&#8221; he had friends of friends with &#8220;alt-right&#8221; sympathies, while &#8220;InfoWars&#8221; is claiming he was influenced by &#8220;Anti&#8221;-Fa (although the target &#8211; a country western concert, with an audience many a &#8220;progressive&#8221; would like to see scourged from the earth (by organic, gluten-free, carbon-neutral means, not icky guns).\u00a0 Only ISIS seems to want to claim the guy.<\/p>\n<p>But if it turns out that\u00a0<em>InfoWars\u00a0<\/em>is right, and that the target bepeaks the motivation?<\/p>\n<p>Watch this story disappear faster than the last bag of Cheetos at a Dave Matthews concert.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;re barely outside the Berg&#8217;s 18th Law theshold with the Las Vegas shooting.
