(Ahem, Joe – might wanna pick some better comparisons – Your Pro-Life Protestant Editor<\/em>)<\/p>\nNotre Dame used to stand for something. \u00a0It could again. \u00a0If you walk out on the Vice President of the United States during commencement, that indicates you failed to learn the values of inclusiveness, of open-minded discussion, of discovery and examination of issues from all points of view,\u00a0of basic human respect AND respect for his office; it\u2019s an insult not only to him but to this entire campus who you embarrassed. \u00a0In consequence, you don’t graduate from Notre Dame. \u00a0Take your credits someplace where that behavior is tolerated. \u00a0We’ll share your transcript same as anyone else, you can take your credits over to leftist U and get their diploma but you won’t have one with our name on it. \u00a0You failed the final exam, and there is no do-over.<\/p>\n
