{"id":62969,"date":"2017-05-01T12:15:22","date_gmt":"2017-05-01T17:15:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=62969"},"modified":"2017-05-01T12:16:11","modified_gmt":"2017-05-01T17:16:11","slug":"never-again","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=62969","title":{"rendered":"Never Again?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today is International Victims of Communism Day.<\/p>\n<p>And we need to really push this one, because it&#8217;s direly needed.<\/p>\n<p>In an infamouis 2016 survey of millennials:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>32% of Millennials thought George Bush killed more people than\u00a0Stalin<\/li>\n<li>42% didn&#8217;t know\u00a0who Mao Zedong was<\/li>\n<li>37% thought\u00a0\u00a0Lenin was the good guy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>By all rational accounts, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prageru.com\/courses\/history\/why-isnt-communism-hated-nazism\">Communism has been the greatest human disaster\u00a0ever to befall mankind.<\/a> \u00a0Greater than Naziism, which is the only accessible yardstick. \u00a0 Nothing else in human history is even close.<\/p>\n<p>And yet at any gathering of Millennials, you&#8217;ll find a bobblehead in a Che t-shirt, and a few more parroting the Bernie-Bro platitudes that are Communism&#8217;s entry level drug.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe it&#8217;s time to crowd-source a production of\u00a0<em>One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today is International Victims of Communism Day.
