As we watch the progress of Minnesota’s “Consitutional Carry” bill – which would remove the law-abiding citizen’s requirement to ask the government for a permit to exercise their Constitutional right to carry a firearm – it’s worth noting the tide that is building in Free America for this utterly sensible measure.<\/p>\n

So far this year, Missouri and New Hampshire have enacted Constitutional Carry. \u00a0That brings the total to 12 states that don’t interfere with their residents’ Constitutional rights.<\/p>\n

And North Dakota looks to be likely to pass it shortly<\/a> (along with a “First Armed Responder in Schools” bill allowing trained school staff to carry permitted firearms). \u00a0This shows one of the many good things that happen when a state’s Democrat party is reduced to a shadow organization.<\/p>\n

My prediction: \u00a0It passes the Minnesota Legislature with bipartisan majority, to get vetoed by Governor Flint Smith.<\/p>\n
