{"id":60171,"date":"2016-09-02T05:00:28","date_gmt":"2016-09-02T10:00:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=60171"},"modified":"2016-09-01T23:37:18","modified_gmt":"2016-09-02T04:37:18","slug":"law-and-morality","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=60171","title":{"rendered":"Law And Morality"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Joe Doakes from Como Park emails:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">I flinch when people urge that we condition law enforcement on \u201chumanity\u201d rather than \u201clegality.\u201d \u00a0Who decides which law is inhumane and need not be obeyed?\u00a0 Taken to its logical extreme, that argument produces anarchy. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s2\">For example, Paul Mirengoff <a href=\"http:\/\/www.powerlineblog.com\/archives\/2016\/08\/where-trump-needs-to-get-to-on-immigration.php\"><span class=\"s3\">writing at Powerline about Trump\u2019s immigration stance<\/span><\/a> says: \u201c<\/span><span class=\"s1\">First, walk away from mass deportation once and for all.
