{"id":58170,"date":"2016-03-30T10:15:57","date_gmt":"2016-03-30T15:15:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=58170"},"modified":"2016-03-31T07:11:05","modified_gmt":"2016-03-31T12:11:05","slug":"its-probably-a-good-thing-its-raining-out","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=58170","title":{"rendered":"It&#8217;s Probably A Good Thing It&#8217;s Raining Out"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mike Freeman is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.startribune.com\/county-attorney-decision-on-jamar-clark-shooting-set-for-10-30-a-m-today\/373979481\/\">set to announce<\/a> whether there will be charges in the Jamar Clark shooting at 10:30 this morning.<\/p>\n<p>Fox9 reports that Freeman will also show a number of videos &#8211; likely the ones that &#8220;Black Lives Matter&#8221; has been clamoring for.<\/p>\n<p>My guess &#8211; and it&#8217;s only a guess? \u00a0The videos will support the officers&#8217; side of the story, and Freeman will announce no charges. \u00a0Since Freeman isn&#8217;t running for office again, he can be the target for the community&#8217;s ire, taking some of the heat off of Mayor Hodges and Chief Harteau. \u00a0 Again &#8211; it&#8217;s my speculation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>UPDATE: \u00a0No charges will be filed against the officers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>UPDATE 2: \u00a0Freeman is showing the videos.<\/p>\n<p>UPDATE 3: \u00a0Nekima Pounds-Levy apparently wants to have quotas for charging and convicting officers.<\/p>\n<p>UPDATE 4: \u00a0Did someone just threaten to burn the city down?<\/p>\n<p>UPDATE 5: \u00a0Question from social media; &#8220;who let BLM (Pounds-Levy) into the press conference?&#8221; \u00a0 Answer: \u00a0The same people who let them out onto 35W without repercussion. \u00a0The cities of Minneapolis and Saint Paul have coddled BLM more than they would any other protest group.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mike Freeman is set to announce whether there will be charges in the Jamar Clark shooting at 10:30 this morning.
