{"id":56815,"date":"2015-12-24T11:00:18","date_gmt":"2015-12-24T17:00:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=56815"},"modified":"2015-12-24T12:35:52","modified_gmt":"2015-12-24T18:35:52","slug":"shot-in-the-dark-todays-news-yesterday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=56815","title":{"rendered":"Shot In The Dark:  Today&#8217;s News, Yesterday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.startribune.com\/minneapolis-city-council-member-alondra-cano-under-fire-for-posting-phone-numbers-email-addresses-of-constituents\/363470421\/\">Even the Strib has noted<\/a> that real people are not amused about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=56799\">Alonda Cano&#8217;s abuse of power yesterday<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As I had hoped, one of the people she doxxed &#8211; Mr. Dent &#8211; is filing an ethics complaint with the city:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Stephen Dent, who said he had previously contributed to Cano&#8217;s campaign,\u00a0wrote to her\u00a0and told\u00a0Cano she was unfit to serve on the council by &#8220;closing\u00a0private property&#8221; and &#8220;supporting illegal actions.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Cano then tweeted Dent&#8217;s\u00a0email address and phone number to her roughly 2,000 followers.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;What she did to me and others put a huge chill on our democratic\u00a0society,&#8221;\u00a0Dent said in a phone interview early Thursday.\u00a0&#8220;It has broken my trust\u00a0with public officials\u00a0in the city of Minneapolis.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Attempts to reach Cano Thursday morning were not successful.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Oh, I just bet they\u00a0weren&#8217;t.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Even the Strib has noted that real people are not amused about Alonda Cano&#8217;s abuse of power yesterday.
