{"id":56459,"date":"2015-12-02T16:04:13","date_gmt":"2015-12-02T22:04:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=56459"},"modified":"2015-12-02T17:00:28","modified_gmt":"2015-12-02T23:00:28","slug":"surely-there-must-be-some-mistake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=56459","title":{"rendered":"Surely There Must Be Some Mistake"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>UPDATE: \u00a0As always we follow the 24 hour rule here in SITD.<\/p>\n<p>But &#8211; and I&#8217;m strictly speculating here &#8211; am I the only one who thinks it&#8217;s odd that the killer or killers (news reporters are conflicted on that point) didn&#8217;t stick around to go out in the usual blaze of media glory, but shot up the meeting and drove away in a &#8220;black SUV?&#8221;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.latimes.com\/local\/lanow\/la-me-ln-up-to-20-shot-in-san-bernardino-active-shooter-sought-20151202-story.html\">Another mass shooting in California<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>That is to say, a state that has every restriction that gun owners want (or admit to wanting so far): \u00a0magazine limits, background checks on private sales, the works.<\/p>\n<p>A state that does its best to prevent a &#8220;good guy&#8221; from getting a gun.<\/p>\n<p>How could this possibly be?<\/p>\n<p>Watch for the media and the &#8220;President&#8221; to try not to waste the crisis &#8211; and for a lot of lies from both. \u00a0And above all, remember the 24 hour rule with media coverage.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>UPDATE: \u00a0As always we follow the 24 hour rule here in SITD.
