It&#8217;s federal law. \u00a0Of course, the only people it affects are people with carry permits. \u00a0 It&#8217;s already illegal for anyone who doesn&#8217;t have a California permit to carry a gun in public, much less on school grounds.<\/p>\n<p>LIBRELLE: \u00a0Right! \u00a0So they can&#8217;t go nuts and shoot up schools!<\/p>\n<p>MITCH: \u00a0And your example of a person with a carry permit shooting up a school is&#8230;who?<\/p>\n<p>LIBRELLE: \u00a0Hundreds!<\/p>\n<p>MITCH: \u00a0Name one.<\/p>\n<p>LIBRELLE: \u00a0It&#8217;s settled science.<\/p>\n<p>MITCH: \u00a0OK. \u00a0One example?<\/p>\n<p>LIBRELLE: \u00a0It&#8217;s settled. \u00a0That means the information has been sealed. \u00a0Anyway &#8211; this is a huge win.<\/p>\n<p>MITCH: \u00a0Because now, people who carried guns legally, but not on school grounds, and who never have caused any problems at schools much less killed anyone, are\u00a0<em>double<\/em>-barred from carrying guns&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>LIBRELLE: Yep!<\/p>\n<p>MITCH: \u00a0While the criminals continue to do as they please.<\/p>\n<p>LIBRELLE: \u00a0Hey!
