{"id":55425,"date":"2015-10-01T14:15:43","date_gmt":"2015-10-01T19:15:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=55425"},"modified":"2015-10-01T17:08:03","modified_gmt":"2015-10-01T22:08:03","slug":"and-another-one","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=55425","title":{"rendered":"And Another One"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A shooting at Umpqua Community College in southwestern Oregon has apparently claimed 10.<\/p>\n<p>First things first; I&#8217;ll urge prayers, or whatever your worldview calls for, for the survivors, and the families of the victims.<\/p>\n<p>And I urge you not to believe anything the media has to say about it for the next couple days.<\/p>\n<p>But it bears noting that <a href=\"http:\/\/seattle.cbslocal.com\/2015\/10\/01\/oregon-community-college-shooting\/\">Umpqua is &#8211; you guessed it<\/a>&#8230;:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The community college is a gun-free campus.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPossession, use, or threatened use of firearms (including but not limited to BB guns, air guns, water pistols, and paint guns) ammunition, explosives, dangerous chemicals, or any other objects as weapons on college property, except as expressly authorized by law or college regulations, is prohibited,\u201d the college\u2019s security policy states.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>How many more innocent lives will be sacrificed to the false god of gun control?<\/p>\n<p><strong>UPDATE:\u00a0<\/strong>Well, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/news\/nation\/2015\/10\/01\/officials-active-shooter-oregon-college\/73153610\/\">this<\/a> is kinda interesting:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>[Korney Moore, an 18 year old student]\u00a0said she saw\u00a0her\u00a0teacher get\u00a0shot in the head, apparently\u00a0after the gunman came into the classroom. At that\u00a0point, Moore told the newspaper,\u00a0the shooter\u00a0ordered everyone\u00a0to get on the ground.\u00a0The shooter then asked\u00a0people to stand up and state their religion and then started firing, Moore said..<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Huh.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A shooting at Umpqua Community College in southwestern Oregon has apparently claimed 10.
