According to the Administration (via it’s biggest media fan club, MSNBC, which is to Barack Obama what Lori Sturdevant is to the DFL), yelling “You Lie” isn’t merely rude (but accurate); it’s racist<\/a>:<\/p>\n

According to MSNBC\u2019s David Shuster on Friday, South Carolina Congressman Joe Wilson shouting \u2018you lie\u2019 to President Obama was racism on display: \u201cThe fact that Joe Wilson is from South Carolina…<\/strong>it strikes a lot of people as awfully close to the idea that maybe there was some sort of racist or bigoted element there.\u201d <\/strong><\/p>\n

Shuster went on to add: \u201cAnd especially then when you look up at the picture and you see older white men, all Republicans, sitting there. Just it gives off a strange vibe.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So – according to the Administration (and I think it’s fair to say MSNBC channels the administration on all particulars), dissent isn’t just (putatively) wrong; it’s depraved.\u00a0 You’re a “teabagger”, you’re a “racist”, you’re a “militiaman”, you’re a loose cannon waiting to go off and kill a bunch of gentle liberals (like the big “pro-choice” he-man who shot a 63-year-old guy with an oxygen tank yesterday, of course<\/a>).<\/p>\n
