Ed Schultz bags out on one of his radio shows<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Its been an interesting couple of months in Ed Schultz<\/span> news, which is never usually an interesting news category unless you find men who consider shouting insults to be keen political analysis to be interesting<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I don’t, as a rule\u00a0– but when Schultz is involved, you have to handicap\u00a0a bit.\u00a0<\/p>\n

First Schultz<\/span> and his North Dakota<\/span> rival Scott Hennen<\/font><\/a> (full disclosure: I guest host for Hennen and have my own show on his station) announced a partnership whereby Schultz<\/span> would host a morning show on Hennen\u2019s recently-acquired AM station<\/font><\/a> in southeast North Dakota<\/span> and debate with Hennen himself once a week on Hennen\u2019s morning show.<\/p>\n

This sparked a great deal of criticism of Hennen which I never quite understood.\u00a0 I understand that a lot of people don\u2019t like Schultz<\/span> (including many on his own side of the political divide), but as far as Hennen goes what\u2019s wrong with debating with the other side?\u00a0<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The whole\u00a0“if you\u00a0talk <\/em>with the “enemy”\u00a0some of it\u00a0rubs off on you” school of thought is something that irritates the piss out of me when it’s liberals doing the whinging. It doesn’t\u00a0bother me any less among conservatives.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Anyway, last week during the Hennen vs. Schultz<\/span> debate Schultz<\/span> got so angry he hung up during the program.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

If it was anything like last year’s “debates” between Schultz and Michael Medved, I’ll bet it didn’t take long.\u00a0 Schultz wasn’t Medved’s intellectual peer.\u00a0 He isn’t Hennen’s equal.\u00a0 For that matter, Tonya Harding outmatches the guy.<\/p>\n

Then Schultz<\/span> pulls the plug on his radio<\/span> show on Hennen\u2019s station.\u00a0 We can at least be glad that Schultz<\/span> didn\u2019t get so angry that he got drunk and punched a girl (as he\u2019s been known to do<\/font><\/a>) but even so that seems like a sissy move.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Sissy?\u00a0 Perhaps.<\/p>\n
