Ah.\u00a0 “For the record”.\u00a0 Well, that makes everything totally different.<\/p>\n
Look: paper protections mean exactly as much as the paper prediciton that “Cash for Clunkers” funding would last a month.\u00a0 Oh, the paper “protection” might be there – but there is no way for the private insurance industry to compete with a government-subsidized plan over time.\u00a0 The market distortion and its’ “Unintended” consequences count for a lot more than any paper “guarantee”.<\/p>\n
There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can\u2019t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we\u2019re asking for your help.
