{"id":45349,"date":"2014-06-27T08:07:29","date_gmt":"2014-06-27T13:07:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=45349"},"modified":"2014-06-27T08:07:29","modified_gmt":"2014-06-27T13:07:29","slug":"sort-of-like-an-affordable-traffic-act-exchange","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=45349","title":{"rendered":"Sort Of Like An &#8220;Affordable Traffic Act&#8221; Exchange"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I was driving north on 35E yesterday afternoon, when I saw there was no traffic on the southbound side coming out of Saint Paul.<\/p>\n<p>Then came about 10 cop cars, whoopie lights a-blazin&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Then the Presidential limo.<\/p>\n<p>Then about a dozen or two other SUVs, limos, an ambulance, and cop cars.<\/p>\n<p>Then I turned up Ayd Mill Road &#8211; a tributary arterial road that&#8217;s sort of a hidden four-lane freeway through the middle of Merriam Park, Crocus Hill and Highland before connecting to 35E &#8211; and saw traffic backed up from 35 almost all the way back to Hamline.
