A) Liberal pro-“choice” blogger voluntarily<\/em>\u00a0posts ultrasounds of her “fetus” (now a toddler, and congrats, by the way) on blog.\u00a0 Conservative blogger heists photo for (tasteless, but\u00a0valid)\u00a0satiric purposes.\u00a0 Liberal bloggers declare world coming to end<\/a>, demand answers, wonder why people don’t respect others’ privacy.<\/p>\n
B) Liberal group “finds security hole” – and, oops, releases scads of private information along with a manifesto declaring that no, “Wikileaks” doesn’t give a rat’s ass that they’re involuntarily <\/em>splashing information that a bunch of eeeeevul Republican donors had intended <\/em>to be private all over hell and half an acre? Liberal bloggers declare “can’t you all take a joke?\u00a0 It’s for your own good<\/em><\/a>” (and “suck it, stoopid ReThugliCons, it’s all your fault anyway<\/a>\u00a0– which we normally call “Blaming the victims”).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
It’s hard to run a civil society when one side’s idea of “civil” is “we can do whatever we can tell ourselves is OK”.<\/p>\n
Are the situations the same? Of course not.\u00a0 Show me any of the Coleman donors who put their credit card numbers out there in public and said “don’t you dare<\/em> do anything with this!”.<\/p>\n
