Just a couple of random points, given without any real reason.<\/p>\n

Really.<\/p>\n

  1. I don’t control who writes at True North<\/em>.\u00a0 I am part of the eight-member ruling Junta that makes those calls.\u00a0 I have never made a unilateral decision of any kind<\/em> – over content, design, direction, naming – at True North<\/em>, much less one over removing a post or a writer.\u00a0 Not once.\u00a0 Ever.<\/em><\/li>\n
  2. If there’s a person anywhere who has less power at True North, it’s my friend and former NARN colleague Michael Brodkorb from Minnesota Democrats Exposed<\/em>.\u00a0 Michael has never been involved with the inner workings at True North<\/em>. Never.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    So anyone who says that “Michael Brodkorb and Mitch Berg teamed up…” to do anything <\/em>at True North<\/em> is – I’ll be diplomatic, since that’s what I do – mistaken the\u00a0first time they say it.\u00a0 I’m willing to set ’em straight.<\/p>\n

    A second time?\u00a0 That’s just making stuff up.<\/p>\n

    Again, I’m just speaking hypothetically.\u00a0 It came to me in a dream.<\/p>\n

    That’s is all.<\/p>\n

    UPDATE:\u00a0 Since Politics In Minnesota <\/em>opted to feature the post that I’m answering with this article, I might as well say it; I’m responding to an inaccurate contention by Col. Joe Repya over at Eagle’s Nest<\/em>.\u00a0 It’s related to a flap that happened last winter, which I fully and accurately explained in this posting on True North<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

    I’m also disappointed that Col. Repya felt the need to resort to name-calling – especially inasmuch as calling me an apologist for the MNGOP establishment is just<\/a> plain absurd<\/a>.<\/p>\n

    Michael Brodkorb’s a friend of mine; but it’s also a matter of record that we’ve disagreed strenuously<\/a> over quite a few things. But facts are facts; Brodkorb makes no <\/em>editorial decisions at True North, <\/em>and never has.<\/p>\n
