The goverment is too powerful. \u00a0Individual freedom has been eroding for decades, and is frankly in a terrible state today.<\/p>\n

And I do very sincerely believe we must watch out for slippery slopes – which most assuredly exist – when guarding the freedoms we have (and, ideally, bringing them back to where they belong).<\/p>\n

And as Goldwater pointed out, “extremism in pursuit of liberty is no vice, and moderation in pursuit of justice is no virtue”.<\/p>\n
