LIBRELLE:\u00a0 Hey, Merg!\u00a0\u00a0 University Avenue is about to get a $1.4 Billion dollar tax cut!<\/p>\n

BERG:\u00a0 (Looking for a graceful way out<\/em>)\u00a0Um, what now?<\/p>\n

LIBRELLE:\u00a0 The Green Line light rail is rebating 1.4 billion dollars worth of local, state and federal taxes to the consumer of Saint Paul!<\/p>\n

BERG:\u00a0 Um, we’re spending <\/em>a billion and change on a light rail line.\u00a0<\/p>\n

LIBRELLE:\u00a0\u00a0 Right – the taxes were paid, and then the money is being sent back to the taxpayer in the form of rail!\u00a0 It’s a tax cut!<\/p>\n

BERG:\u00a0 That’s absurd.\u00a0<\/p>\n

LIBRELLE:\u00a0 And MNSure is tens of millions of taxpayer dollars being returned to Minnesota’s healthcare consumers.\u00a0<\/p>\n

BERG:\u00a0 And Information Technology companies, and business consultants.<\/p>\n

LIBRELLE:\u00a0 Exactly!\u00a0 All of them are benefitting from the Tax Cuts!<\/p>\n

BERG:\u00a0 None of these are tax cuts.\u00a0 All of them are government taking money from some people, and giving it to others…<\/p>\n

LIBRELLE:\u00a0\u00a0 …you’re a sore loser, Merg!\u00a0\u00a0 Why, look at the tax cuts we’re giving to the working poor!<\/p>\n

BERG:\u00a0 “Tax cuts?”\u00a0 You hiked the budget $2.1 Billion, and took over a billion extra out of the economy, and the DFL’s idea of a “tax cut” is to give a few million back <\/a>to people to reinforce their DFL votes?<\/p>\n

LIBRELLE:\u00a0 Blah blah blah!\u00a0 It’s tax money, and someone is getting it back!<\/p>\n

BERG:\u00a0 So giving hundreds of millions of tax dollars to Zygi Wilf is a “tax cut?”<\/p>\n

LIBRELLE:\u00a0\u00a0 Is it tax money?\u00a0 Is someone getting it?\u00a0 It’s a tax cut!<\/p>\n

BERG:\u00a0\u00a0 So the CIA and the SEALS gave Osama Bin Laden a “tax cut” when they killed him?<\/p>\n

LIBRELLE:\u00a0\u00a0 Don’t be absurd!\u00a0 They lowered the unemployment rate!<\/p>\n
