{"id":39050,"date":"2013-10-16T07:51:45","date_gmt":"2013-10-16T12:51:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=39050"},"modified":"2013-10-16T07:51:45","modified_gmt":"2013-10-16T12:51:45","slug":"abuse","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=39050","title":{"rendered":"Abuse"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the interest of helping this incident go viral, I&#8217;m re-posting this video.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s\u00a0Richland County (South Carolina) Deputy Paul Allen Derrick, who &#8211; rejected by 23 year old Brittany Ball, described as a Marine &#8211; allegedly became enraged, went to his car, got his handcuffs and pistol, and proceeded to play cop with Ms. Ball.<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, the video was rolling:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/DkhrWZ6twjw\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"420\" height=\"315\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>I worked in bars for way too long, and this is ugly, depraved stuff even by my standards. Derrick tortures Ball, practically wrenching her arm out of its socket. He gropes her, too.<\/p>\n<p>The good news, as it were? Sober on-duty cops were called, and they were able to put the law above the Thin Blue Line, and they arrested Derrick. He&#8217;s charged with assault and battery.<\/p>\n<p>The bad news?
