{"id":38963,"date":"2013-10-10T12:00:56","date_gmt":"2013-10-10T17:00:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=38963"},"modified":"2013-10-10T08:40:15","modified_gmt":"2013-10-10T13:40:15","slug":"the-pig-queen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=38963","title":{"rendered":"The Pig Queen"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Of all the gun-grabbing leaders of the victim disarmament movement, few have the history of loathsome hypocrisy of Diane Feinstein.<\/p>\n<p>When she was mayor of San Francisco, she issued an executive order revoking all civilian carry permits&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;but had herself issued a police permit first. \u00a0Fearful over an incident that had happened on the campaign trail <a href=\"http:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/Big-Government\/2012\/12\/19\/Flashback-Dianne-Feinstein-s-own-conceal-carry-permit-story\">when\u00a0<em>her\u00a0<\/em>life was threatened<\/a>, Feinstein figured\u00a0<em>her<\/em>\u00a0life was worth defending, and unlike all the sheeple she ruled,\u00a0<em>she\u00a0<\/em>was competent to do it.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/news\/2013\/oct\/9\/miller-how-a-senator-got-her-guns-for-a-dc-show-an\/\">She&#8217;s baaaaack<\/a>; she wanted some &#8220;assault weapons&#8221; for one of her potemkin news conferences, and she exerted influence on DC Police Chief Cathy Lanier, who &#8211; according to emails acquired by a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, got her subordinates to not only make it happen, but make it happen quietly:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif; font-style: italic;\">Cmdr. Williams emailed Mr. Mentzer to put a \u201cbug\u201d in his ear that the police would \u201cprefer that no mention of the fact that the weapons came from D.C. or were recovered by MPDC in the official language or speeches.\u201d Mr. Mentzer replied, \u201cBy not mentioning where the weapons came from, we open ourselves up to the same charge against David Gregory.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>He was referring to the anchor of NBC\u2019s \u201cMeet the Press,\u201d who knowingly procured an illegal 30-round magazine in the District as a stunt for his TV show, but was not charged.<\/p>\n<p>The office of Senate Sergeant at Arms Terrance W. Gainer coordinated bringing the illegal weapons onto Capitol Hill for Mrs. Feinstein\u2019s dramatic Jan. 24 news conference introducing her new \u201cassault weapons\u201d ban.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This shutdown is showing a lot of regular Americans that laws are for peasants. \u00a0If you&#8217;re a Second Amendment advocate, you&#8217;ve known this for decades.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Of all the gun-grabbing leaders of the victim disarmament movement, few have the history of loathsome hypocrisy of Diane Feinstein.
