So today\u2019s the last day of the \u201cPledge Week\u201d. \u00a0Thanks to everyone \u2013 for stopping by and reading these past 11 years.<\/p>\n

I haven’t done an actual bleg – a blog fundraiser – on\u00a0Shot In The Dark\u00a0<\/em>for about four years now.<\/p>\n

Partly because it felt a little presumptuous, in this lousy economy. \u00a0Partly because it just never occurred to me to want to.<\/p>\n

Anyway – much as I’d\u00a0like\u00a0<\/em>to do an Andrew-Sullivan-style “Please pony up $80K or I’ll have to leave blogging”-style bleg twice a year, it’s just not true. \u00a0I’ll keep writing Shot In The Dark<\/em> no matter what.<\/p>\n

But if the mood strikes you, feel perfectly free to drop a buck or two in the kitty. I’d be much obliged.<\/p>\n
