The bad news:\u00a0 it looks like an Obama administration is going to be too brittle to take the heat<\/a>:<\/p>\n

[Orlando TV reporter Barbara] West wondered about Sen. Barack Obama’s<\/strong> comment, to Joe the Plumber, about spreading the wealth. She quoted Karl Marx and asked how Obama isn’t being a Marxist with the “spreading the wealth” comment.<\/p>\n

“Are you joking?” said Biden, who is Obama’s running mate. “No,” West said.<\/p>\n

West later asked Biden about his comments that Obama could be tested early on as president. She wondered if the Delaware senator was saying America’s days as the world’s leading power were over.<\/p>\n

“I don’t know who’s writing your questions,” Biden shot back.<\/p>\n

Biden so disliked West’s line of questioning that the Obama campaign canceled a WFTV interview with Jill Biden<\/strong>, the candidate’s wife.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“This cancellation is non-negotiable, and further opportunities for your station to interview with this campaign are unlikely, at best for the duration of the remaining days until the election,” wrote Laura K. McGinnis, Central Florida communications director for the Obama campaign.\u00a0<\/p>\n

McGinnis said the Biden cancellation was “a result of her husband’s experience yesterday during the satellite interview with Barbara West.”<\/p><\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

“Dear Messrs. Putin and Ahmadinejad:\u00a0 you will have no access to anyone in our administration until you learn to ask only softball questions”.<\/p>\n

The good news?\u00a0 At least Obama’s campaign didn’t sic its legal droogs and hordes of petitionmongering sycophants to threaten the station’s broadcast license.<\/p>\n
