I’m trying to imagine what life’d be like if Saint Paul had “won” the Democrat rather than GOP National Convention.<\/p>\n

One thing I don’t see ever happening:\u00a0 Republicans making up snotty, stupid lawn signs to parade their elitism, bigotry, and exaggerated sense of moral and intellectual entitlement.<\/p>\n

Of course, they’ll be contributing to the city’s light (and <\/em>moral, aesthetic and intellectual pollution) with “True Blue Minnesota”‘s jumbotron on Cathedral Hill; we\u00a0an exclusive\u00a0preview of True Blue Minnesota\u2019s video event<\/font><\/a> right here:<\/p>\n

The top vote-getter, receiving 130 votes, was Teri Kwant\u2019s sign, “I\u2019m for preemptive peace<\/a>. Oh, and as if property values in the Twin Cities’ blighted neighborhoods weren’t crappy enough already:<\/p>\n

The 50 designs will be distributed<\/a> in yards in St. Paul\u2019s Dayton\u2019s Bluff, St. Paul\u2019s West Side and Minneapolis\u2019 Seward neighborhoods. But if you don\u2019t live in those communities, you can still plant one in your yard: $20 gets one delivered to your door.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
