It’s been a couple of years since this blog has run a “bleg” – asking for donations to defray some of the (minimal) cost of running the blog, and grab a few bucks for the (not minimal) time spent writing what you read here.<\/p>\n

Fact is, I don’t need it that much. \u00a0Business is, oddly, pretty good. \u00a0Maybe next year.<\/p>\n

But I would like you to take a moment to think about popping a few bucks in Gary Gross’ tip jar.<\/p>\n

Gary writes Let Freedom Ring<\/a><\/em>, and\u00a0does some of the top-notchiest reporting there is, anywhere. \u00a0He does for Central Minnesota what I wish blogging and talk radio paid well enough for me to do in the Metro; he is <\/em>the backbone of Central Minnesota’s regional conservative alternative media.<\/p>\n

Unlike most of the regular leftybloggers, he does a ton of work; one of very few bloggers in the state more prolific than I am. \u00a0Unlike virtually all of the more prolific leftybloggers, he doesn’t have George Soros or Alida Messinger paying his bills.<\/p>\n

Now, Gary’s in a rough financial situation. \u00a0The details aren’t that important, and I don’t even know many of them to be honest, but we’re not talking malfeasance, here; Gary is no MIchael Lohan or Charlie Sheen.<\/p>\n

But he’s having to stretch things pretty far to keep his blog in production.<\/p>\n
