{"id":2745,"date":"2008-06-20T12:52:17","date_gmt":"2008-06-20T17:52:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=2745"},"modified":"2008-06-20T12:52:17","modified_gmt":"2008-06-20T17:52:17","slug":"accountability","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=2745","title":{"rendered":"Accountability"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Leo Pusatieri is one of the local MOB bloggers you need to be reading regularly, both at his main gig, <em><a href=\"http:\/\/psycmeistr.blogspot.com\/\">Psychmeister&#8217;s Ice Palace<\/a><\/em>, and his other project, the one he started in his capacity as the father of a son in the Army who did a tour in Iraq, <em>Murtha Must Go.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>MMG today runs <a href=\"http:\/\/murthamustgo.blogspot.com\/2008\/06\/haditha-prosecutions-we-lived-it.html\">a lengthy piece by Darryl Sharratt<\/a>, father of Marine Lance Corporal Justin Sharratt, one of the eight Marines accused in the so-called &#8220;Haditha Massacre&#8221;.\u00a0 Excoriated by a media that was in the bag for the anti-war movement and just <em>dying<\/em> to find a new generation of My Lais and a new crop of Lieutenant Calleys for a new generation, tossed under the bus by the left, railroaded (alleges Mr. Sharratt) by the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, and personally and severally defamed by Representative John Murtha, these eight Marines have, one by one, been absolved of any role in the crime &#8211; but are still seeking justice.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Sharratt indicts&#8230;well, just about everyone &#8211; \u00a0the media, the NCIS, and Rep.
