The first observation – and it’s one I’ve made, although perhaps not enough – was a fun one:<\/p>\n

The Tea Party, [David Dayen of “Firedog Lake”] says, has “struck fear” into the Republican Party, but the Democrats don’t respond to their grassroots because “the progressive movement inspires laughter.” Quoting Kos:<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
