Hillary, of course, is on record as only favoring massive licensing and registration of handguns, not a complete ban. You know, licensing like they have in New York City where lawyers specialize in helping you get your one-year pistol license. Miss your appointment with the firearms officer and you are out of luck for a while. Of course she now says pursuing such a licensing scheme is not politically feasible. She\u2019ll just continue to demonize gun owners until there aren\u2019t as many of us\u2026\u2026then they can ban what they want.<\/p>\n<p>Both Hillary and Barack favor bans on \u201cassault weapons\u201d as well. You know why they support bans on \u201cassault weapons\u201d and not handguns, when, admittedly, it is handguns that are used in most crimes? It\u2019s because there are less (although growing) numbers of people who own \u201cassault weapons\u201d. Its easier to attack the minority of us who use certain semi-automatic firearms.
