{"id":24482,"date":"2011-11-21T12:00:06","date_gmt":"2011-11-21T18:00:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=24482"},"modified":"2011-11-21T06:46:23","modified_gmt":"2011-11-21T12:46:23","slug":"auditions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=24482","title":{"rendered":"Auditions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Occupy movement is still looking for the big moment that the media &#8211; who are still largely sympathetic &#8211; can flog into an epochal, or at least society-altering, event. \u00a0It&#8217;s called a &#8220;Kent State Moment&#8221; &#8211; which, as Zombie at Pajamas Media <a href=\"http:\/\/pjmedia.com\/tatler\/2011\/11\/20\/ows-kent-state-moment-more-like-dorothea-lange-moment\/\">notes<\/a>&#8230;:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8230;when modern liberal pundits wish for an OWS \u201cKent State moment,\u201d they\u2019re not wishing for fatalities, but rather for the appearance of that one photograph which will reverberate around the world and forever establish the Occupiers as oppressed victims.
