Another multiple victim shooting<\/a> at an American post-secondary school. This time, possibly zero dead; some reports say the shooter killed himself:<\/p>\n

Several people have been shot on the Northern Illinois University campus. The suspect reportedly killed himself and officials say the danger has passed.<\/p>\n

Officials confirmed that several people were shot at Cole Hall, a large lecture hall on campus, shortly after 3 p.m. and the campus was immediately placed on lockdown. Kishwaukee Hospital reported that up to 15 people were being brought to the hospital.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

While I can’t find a specific policy on the NIU website yet, Illinois has among the “toughest” gun laws in the country (where “onerous to the law-abiding” = “tough”).<\/p>\n

Looks like they’ve done yet another fine job.<\/p>\n

UPDATE: I had a bad feeling it couldn’t last. Four dead, plus the shooter<\/a>.<\/p>\n
