The GOP leadership in the State Senate, as of today, decided not <\/em>to have a floor vote on Senate File 1357, the “Stand Your Ground” bill.<\/p>\n

Here’s my letter:<\/p>\n

Subject: Please Vote On SF1357<\/p>\n

Senators,<\/p>\n

I’m Mitch Berg. I know, and have interviewed, not a few of you. I’m a constituent of Mary Jo McGuire, so I don’t expect a lot of sanity from my own “representation”.<\/p>\n

But having heard that the Senate has refused to vote on SF1357, I have to say I expected better from a GOP-led Senate.<\/p>\n

I ask you to please reconsider this, and bring the bill to the floor and send it to the Governor. As he ran as a “Second-Amendment-Friendly” gubernatorial candidate.<\/p>\n
