No Liberal Media Here."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s no secret &#8211; I think National Public Radio is a liberal enclave.<\/p>\n<p>So do <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theonion.com\/articles\/this-american-life-completes-documentation-of-libe,2188\/\">not a few noted liberals<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Even if I <em>did <\/em>believe that it was right for government to fund <em>any <\/em>media, <em>whatever their politics<\/em>, it wouldn&#8217;t be the clubby, sclerotic, gigantistic instition of National Public Radio (or the Corporation for Public Broadcasting)<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>And there&#8217;s some traction for that skepticism in Congress.<\/p>\n<p>And\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2011\/03\/08\/npr-executives-caught-on-tape-bashing-conservatives-and-tea-party-touting-liberals\/\">this latest James O&#8217;Keefe video won&#8217;t help NPR&#8217;s case<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>In a new video released Tuesday morning by conservative filmmaker James O\u2019Keefe, Schiller and Betsy Liley, NPR\u2019s director of institutional giving, are seen meeting with two men who, unbeknownst to the NPR executives, are posing as members of a Muslim Brotherhood front group. The men, who identified themselves as Ibrahim Kasaam and Amir Malik from the fictitious Muslim Education Action Center (MEAC) Trust, met with Schiller and Liley at Caf\u00e9 Milano, a well-known Georgetown restaurant, and explained their desire to give to $5 million to NPR because, \u201cthe Zionist coverage is quite substantial elsewhere.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On the tapes, Schiller wastes little time before attacking conservatives. The Republican Party, Schiller says, has been \u201chijacked by this group.\u201d The man posing as Malik finishes the sentence by adding, \u201cthe radical, racist, Islamaphobic, Tea Party people.\u201d Schiller agrees and intensifies the criticism, saying that the Tea Party people aren\u2019t \u201cjust Islamaphobic, but really xenophobic, I mean basically they are, they believe in sort of white, middle-America gun-toting. I mean, it\u2019s scary. They\u2019re seriously racist, racist people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Schiller goes on to describe liberals as more intelligent and informed than conservatives. \u201cIn my personal opinion, liberals today might be more educated, fair and balanced than conservatives,\u201d he said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2011\/03\/08\/npr-executives-caught-on-tape-bashing-conservatives-and-tea-party-touting-liberals\/\">Watch the video<\/a> here.<\/p>\n<p>(And I&#8217;m waiting for the first lefty apologist to say &#8220;it&#8217;s only convicted criminal James O&#8217;Keefe&#8221;. \u00a0Go ahead. \u00a0Make my day).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s no secret &#8211; I think National Public Radio is a liberal enclave.
