He is best known, in Minnesota, for his years running a community bank association.<\/p>\n<p>Olson, a Republican, said he never has endorsed a Minnesota governor candidate before. He joins former Minnesota Gov. Arne Carlson in Horner\u2019s camp.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>That whole &#8220;Carlson&#8221; thing really tells you all you need to know about Tom Horner.<\/p>\n<p>As to Olson?\u00a0 Perhaps the Horner campaign is trying to lock up the &#8216;Ex-North Dakotan&#8221; vote. We are about 40% of Minnesotans, after all &#8211; the smart 40% who know how to drive and had better educations for less money.<\/p>\n<p>But Allen Olson presided over some of the most miserable years in North Dakota history.
