Answer: Show them you exist and aren’t going away:

The comments on this tweet are the tip of the rhetorical iceberg, and bespeak a crowd who treat violations of their ‘Urban Progressive Privilege’ like getting jabbed in the yarbles with a knitting needle.

  1. I heard Liz talking about this on the John Justice show yesterday. I couldn’t stop laughing about how much she triggered little lefty cry babies! Liz summed it up best, “Every time they Xd or re-Xd this, they were advertising for Alpha News, so thanks for the free advertising”! Classic!

  2. Billboards are for rent. Go rent it, put up a message you’d like to see: “Andy Gebo is Awesome!” with a huge photo of your grinning phiz. Be a day brightener every morning you see it.

What’s that? Not willing to put your money where your mouth is? Then I guess you look out a different window for a while.

Remarkable how limited some people’s thinking can be. You live in a metropolitan area with a million other people but you can’t stand the notion that someone else might disagree with your opinion?

  3. They may currently live in a metro with 1 million people, but that is not what they want. They want to chase everyone away- businesses, cars, outsiders- so that they can have some sort of utopia where everyone looks like them, everyone thinks like them, everyone bikes like them, and where they grow and make everything so they don’t have to rely on capitalism. No word yet on who in the group has the money to support their utopia, but they probably have a plan to somehow get it out of those they’ve chased away.

  4. mjb003,

The evil twin part of me, wants to find out where some of these people work, then ask their employer’s CEO if this is typical behavior of their employees. But the, my sane side, the part of me that has experienced job losses a few times over my career, decides not to.

  5. BH429, unfortunately, the only way to get these people to knock off with this shit is to cause financial or physical pain. They cannot be swayed/convinced that what they are doing is wrong, because they are drowning in narcissism and the belief that what they are doing is right; the ends justify the means.

They’d have not one iota of guilt in causing one of us to lose our jobs due to being against their perceived slight. We need to start acting in kind.

  6. Bill C.
    Totally correct.
I’ve actually heard a couple of comments suggesting these students that are affected, get the names of the leaders of the insurrectionists, like Johanna Slutsky, at their college and sue the crap out of them! Sounds like an opportunity for a smart lawyer.

  7. I just looked him up on LinkedIn and found him. His profile says that he’s an analyst at SPS Commerce.
