The More Things Change, The Less Things Change

There was a time when I might have asked what a metro school board, like for example Edina, might have done if a bunch of students wandered around the halls bellowing:\

“Uptown
Downtown
We Just Want Our Lebensraum

Or:

We don’t need ethnic pollution
Bring us the Final Solution!

But it occurs to me…:

…it may be the wrong quesiton these days.

  1. What to be?

    What to be?

    a) A pimply-faced, social awkward kid who doesn’t know sh*t.

    b) A morally-superior, self-righteous activist with all the knowledge and adoration of the mob.

  2. After listening to the logic and reasoning of the protesters, I can only join my friend Olson Johnson in saying:

“Now who can argue with that? I think we’re all indebted to [them] for clearly stating what needed to be said. I’m particulary glad that these lovely children were here today to hear that speech. Not only was it authentic frontier gibberish, it expressed a courage little seen in this day and age.”

  3. Bigman, I prefer this classic line:

“What you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.”

  4. One of the protesters was shouting Genocide! Genocide! as if it was an established fact instead of a stupid propaganda chanting point

Lady, what’s happening now is not genocide. You wanna talk about genocide? Ask the Anasazi, the Picts, or whoever built Stonehenge…oh wait, you can’t, they’re all dead. That’s what genocide means: their enemies killed every single one of them, man, woman and child.

If it’s Palestinian genocide you, truly desire, that can be arranged. And then our school board meetings won’t be disrupted. Maybe not such a bad result?

  5. 1948: 1.3 million Palestinians
    2023: 7 mllion Palestinians.

Genocide may be the one thing Israel doesn’t do well.

  6. Would have been interesting to see someone brave enough to ask “do you remember why Israel is invading Gaza? Do you remember the thousand innocent civilians murdered in cold blood? Do you remember the infants murdered by your mujahedeen, the women raped until they bled profusely from their private parts by your so-called ‘holy warriors’? Do you remember WHY Gazans are in the line of fire–because Hamas is using them as human shields? Do you remember exactly what nation lies between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea, and why they might take exception to Hamas taking ownership of that land–and killing them?”
