Today is “Juneteenth” which celebrates the day in 1865 when Negroes in Texas were informed they were free of the system that was instituted in 1655 when Anthony Johnson, a Negro man, had a Negro indentured servant named John Casor declared his property by a court, thus making him the first chattel slave in America.
Those reprobates should break out their Kente scarves again.
