Campaign Contribution

Trump goes to hostile areas – Minneapolis, the Nationals’ stadium.

“Progressives” – spoiled, entitled public unioneers, academics, PR flaks disguised as journalists, “students” and non-profiteers, eternal beneficiaries of a prosperity they had nothing to do with creating – act like spoiled toddlers, continuing the tantrum that started three years ago and looks unlikely to stop until 2025 at least.

In Minneapolis, hundreds of testosterone-raging post-adolescent rage-o-holics and their soy-boi significant others/servants beclowned themselves and ganged up on the occasional lone, elderly or diminuitive rally-goer, presumably feeling the earth move in the process.

And in DC?

And I have to think that Trump has got to be looking at more such appearances in “Blue” territory; these outbursts of toddler tantrum-mongering have got to be racking up the contributions, the votes, and the moderate Democrats thinking “OMFG, who are these clowns?”

  1. “They had nothing to do with creating’.. uh, sorry?

They built the roads that allowed the trucks to roll.

They served in the armed forces that secured those freedoms you love to champion but won’t stand up to defend.

    Talk about breeding hate.

Trump got booed because he’s an odious jerk who flouts the law and he got his own chant shouted back at him, don’t like it, here’s a thought, DON’T DO IT.

  2. By the way, the audience in DC is not 90% Democratic, it’s an affluent audience going to the World Series, if you need to lie to yourself to believe that, so be it, but what you’ve given for demographics at that game is a lie. MANY people, many suburbanites, find Trump to be an odious, untrustworthy, disloyal, self-interested jerk who will sacrifice the country’s interests in EVERY way if it suits him. He kisses Putin’s butt time and again, and you’re blind to it because you don’t want to see it. He attacks national heroes, people who are life-long civil servants seeking simply to do the “right” thing, and you attack them. It’s shameful, and the people in DC, the white, affluent attendees, from all over the country (by the way), who booed Trump were expressing the vast opinion of the country – and you hate them. Shame.

  3. Up until today, Leftists have confidently assured me that You Didn’t Build That. Now that it’s suddenly changed, I’m dying to know: which of the people attending that game and booing the President operated the heavy machinery that built the road outside the stadium? What are their names, who’d they work for, what equipment did they drive?

  4. So the guys operating earth movers were paying $1k/ticket to be in the stadium? Um, not buying it, Paddyboy: they’ve got families to feed. You’re kinda reinforcing the reality here. The ugly reality is that, yes, those who can afford World Series tickets are indeed predominantly from those working for the government and engaged in businesses that help the government operate. The ROI for them is indeed pretty low.

  5. Funny, since we all know that leftists are all about the projection, those are some serious screwballs bouncing around the brain of paddyboy.

  6. There was one person in that stadium who was chosen by the American people to lead the federal government. The civil servants booed him. That was shameful, and it showed whose side they were on — their own. They’ll bankrupt you to get a 1% bump in their generous salaries.

  7. “To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.” ~ Theodore Roosevelt

Speaking truth to power. As American as baseball and apple pie. This has got to be hard for Trump considering how obsessed he is with crowd size and crowd reactions.

  8. Today, Schiff and his cronies will apparently hear testimony that the NSC and its bureaucrats run American foreign policy, not the US president.
    Dig that hole deeper, Schiff!

  9. Might be hard to portray a lieutenant colonel as some kind of radical. Real Patriots don’t ask another country to interfere in our elections.

And real patriots don’t cover-up for someone trading our tax dollars and defenses to coerce other countries to dig up or fabricate dirt on Trump’s political rivals just so he can gain a personal political advantage.

  10. Regarding the claim that Trump asked other nations to investigate the Bidens or provide information regarding them, I’m a little bit less than worked up about that somebody might ask for help answering why a drug addict who’d never held an honest job in his life was getting all those sweet gigs. Isn’t justice supposed to look into neat little deals like that?

You want your violation of the emoluments clause, Democrats? There you go.

  11. There was a time when I’d look at an Emery comment, and give it two or three paragraphs before considering it “tl;dr” and move on. Now, I’m down to about one or two sentences.

As for “paddyboy”, all I really need to see is “paddyboy”.

  12. Once again, Emery, you have embarrassed yourself by repeating tired left wing chanting points to appease their drooling sycophants like you.

Obumbler, Comey, Clapper and Brennan, were alerted to possible interference in the 2016 election, yet they did nothing! Funny! As the investigation by Barr and Durham go on, we are learning that they really wanted to help the Wicked witch of the East win that election so they could continue their illegal land grabs without protest. Or did you conveniently forget those facts?

  13. Compare the number of people booing at Nats Stadium to the number cheering at a Trump Rally. Many people would prefer a free rally ticket over a $1k baseball game ticket. Although it’s unlikely you’d get the protesters and Antifa vermin at the ball game.

    Current line on tonight’s game:
    WSH: 161 (underdog)
    HOU: -176 (favorite)

If that holds the Nationals fans won’t have to worry about booing Trump. Imagine the spectacle if the Astros win out and Trump invites them to hang out at the White House…..hmmm!

  14. For some reason, war heroes, career law enforcement officers, lifelong public servants of all kinds are all just hopelessly biased against President Trump.

  15. And yet the American people elected Trump President! It’s almost as though the American people believe that they are the boss, not “lifelong public servants.” Servants, FYI, do what they are f*ckin told to do. That’s what the word “servant” means, you can look it up.

  16. You can always tell when a lefty reprobates Twatter feed isn’t feeding the narrative. Their meager cognitive abilities become overwhelmed, and they head straight for a conservative website to vent their frustrations and hate.

If it weren’t for sites like SITD, I believe wild eyed, low IQ reprobates like Peevee and D_K would be detonating explosive vests in pre-schools serving middle class Caucasian families.

  17. Speaking truth to power.

Oh FFS, what a meaningless phrase. For starters, if Emery or Paddyboy encountered the truth, they might spontaneously combust.

  18. For some reason, war heroes, career law enforcement officers, lifelong public servants of all kinds are all just hopelessly biased against President Trump.

Translation: Veterans, police officers, and “noble” public servants who speak out against someone I don’t like are immediately granted Absolute Moral Authority, and the emptiness of their logical arguments and poor command of the facts are not to be questioned or challenged.

Note: Also applies to Swedish teenagers.

  19. Pelosi was manipulated by Schiff into raising the impeachment issue in the House. Now the GOP has manipulated Pelosi into an official vote on impeachment rules. Schiff’s inability to manage an investigation on a bipartisan basis has erected a GOP wall around Trump. Disaster lies ahead for the Dems, and Pelosi should have seen it coming — Schiff has a known tendency to overstate his case (he swore that he had seen incontrovertible evidence of Trump colluding with Russia state actors. It did not exist).
Pelosi is losing it. Her vaunted competence is one of many cases where the MSM is telling you something that your own eyes tell you isn’t true.

  20. Paddy,

    Government creates no wealth. Zero.

At its least useless, it serves to create the order that makes wealth creation possible. But the only parts of government that really do that are the legislature (within limits), law enforcement, courts, and as a last resort the military.

95% of the government is a drag on the rest of us.

  21. It’ll be interesting when John Bolton appears and describes what he meant when he said:
“I’m not part of whatever drug deal Sondland and Mulvaney are cooking up.”

  22. John Maynard Keynes teaches us that GDP consists of money invested, consumer spending, and government spending, and that while investment and consumer spending has a multiplier > 1.0, government spending does not. This is because government does not spend money to increase value, it spends money to achieve political goals. This is as it should be. Government should not be run like a business; The goal of a business is to get the most value for the least cost out of its workers and its customers.

  23. This has got to be hard for Trump considering how obsessed he is with crowd size and crowd reactions.

If he was so concerned about size and reaction, why did he go to one of probably the top 2-3 most anti-Trump areas of the country? The only place he could have gotten a more negative a reaction would be San Francisco. If he wanted a positive reaction, he would have gone to Houston.

  24. I predict that this won’t sway the Pizza-Gate Republicans and Trump supporters from the “rigged process” argument even one iota.

At some point, Republicans are going to have to confront the substance and the substance of this is a president who has abused his power and sold out the country.

  25. You go, Emery!
Now the Dems are talking back the impeachment rules vote. Pelosi’s people — like Steny Hoyer — are implying that Pelosi doesn’t control the Dems.
Pas the popcorn. Funnest impeachment ever!

  26. “At some point, R’s are going to have to confront…a president who has abused his power and sold out the country.” As some further point, Democrats are going to have to come up with proof of those assertions. Good luck!

  27. I predict that this won’t sway the Pizza-Gate Republicans…

Do you ever get discouraged when a mom sees you filming the kids on the playground and raises the alarm, D_K? Are you put off when your mothers mummified corpse wont be the big spoon and rustle your jimmies at night?

Of course not. You just keep putting one clown shoe down in front of the other and carry on.

  28. Emery, I’m just wondering. How the hell do you even function?! I mean, with your constant parroting of the talking points of your left wing media masters being your only comments, I’m thinking that you are just a Russian bot.

  29. BossHoss, D_K needs something to kill time during those long Free Candy van stakeouts.

  30. @Woolly: I was skeptical of the idea that Pelosi calling the GOP bluff with a process vote was going to make them look like complete idiots, since I figured they’d just try to dig deeper into the weeds to find stuff to complain about.

Turns out, I was incorrect. They do look like idiotic Pizza-gate Republicans.

“A due process starts at the beginning. It doesn’t affirm a miss, sham investigation all the way through. If you were in the legal term, it’d be the fruit from the poisonous tree.” ~ Kevin McCarthy

  31. Oh, they are looking like complete idiots, Emery.
Adam Schiff is using star chamber tactics because that is the only way his sham investigation has traction. His witnesses aren’t being examined by the other side, the media only gets Schiff-approved leaks.
The old Pelosi would have seen what Schiff is up to and nipped it in the bud. If they keep this up they will lose the presidency AND the house next year; they certainly are not going to get a conviction in the senate. You may well see the vote on impeachment inquiry rules indefinitely postponed if Pelosi can’t keep her caucus together. How humiliating. She is old, her brain don’t work well anymore, she is reacting to events rather than initiating events.

  32. This is the dynamic the Dems are dealing with:
31 house members who won in 2018 represent districts Trump carried in 2016. Trump voters are highly motivated to turn out for Trump again in 2020, and the booming economy has put the wind at Trump’s back. Also, all of the likely Dem candidates are lunatics who believe that women can have a penis and testicles and impregnate other women (or at least they say that they believe that).
So Pelosi does not want these congressman to go on record with a vote for impeachment — unless Trump actually can be impeached by the house and then convicted by the senate, which will take him out of the running in 2020.
But the far-left base of the Democrat party is insane. If these “moderate” congressmen don’t insist on impeaching Trump, many of them will be primaried by fringe leftists who may very well win their primary & have no chance of defeating a moderate or even a vocal Trump-backing Republican.
    There goes Pelosi’s majority.
So Pelosi was doing the right thing for her party. She let the rabid Trump haters in congress play at investigating Trump while forbidding an impeachment vote that will not succeed in the senate and would put her majority at risk.
Then Schiff comes out with his hear-say whistle blower report.
God only knows how Schiff sold Pelosi on impeachment. We know that Schiff is a liar, and has oversold evidence against Trump before this. And, to be frank, Pelosi doesn’t have the mojo she once had.
Pelosi, thanks to Schiff and her own incompetence, finds herself in a worst-case situation. She is forced to pursue an impeachment that puts her majority in great peril, and that will not result in Trump’s removal from office.
We know that Pelosi & Schiff are not operating out of principle. Both approved of Obama’s FBI & CIA investigating candidate Trump based on foreign intel.

  33. Pelosi forced Republicans to admit they’ve been participating in the impeachment inquiry this whole time while simultaneously complaining about secret hearings.

If Trump were facing a trial by jury — 100% of US lawyers would tell him to take a plea deal.

  34. “Although Vindman is a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army, he is serving an assignment at the NSC as the director for European Affairs. According to sources at the NSC, Vindman does not wear his uniform to work at the NSC, where the standard dress is business wear.”
This is good. It shows that Vindman is really a “nameless, faceless bureaucrat” who wears his uniform for political purposes. Schiff wants us to believe that he is acting as a member of the armed forces. If a republican was allowed to cross-examine him (they are not), I would ask him if he was wearing his uniform on the days when he eavesdropped on Trump officials, and if he was serving in a military capacity when he did so.

  35. “If Trump were facing a trial by jury — 100% of US lawyers would tell him to take a plea deal.”
This is a lie. What crime would he plead guilty to, Emery?

  36. Now it appears that Vindman wanted to edit the “official transcript” of Trump’s phone call with Zelinsky to include subtexts about quid-pro-quo that Vindman is certain were there . . . good Lord, this is turning into high comedy.

  37. Really, the first thing you would want to know about anyone with Ukranian ancestry who does foreign policy is “whose side are they on”? Brilliant people, alas lacking any talent for self-governance. It pains me to say this, but the pro-European-integration side is led by the elites but has little popular support. Pro-Russia is the side most of the common people take, and I can’t blame them. History is a hard teacher; the Ukranian elites can relocate to Europe or America, the guy who farms wheat or works in a factory cannot.

  38. Vindman testified that the rough transcript of the call contained missing words and phrases that he tried unsuccessfully to restore, according to people familiar with the matter ~ WSJ
    https://www.wsj.com/articles/house-panels-hear-officialsconcerns-about-trumps-ukraine-call-11572357591

Apparently, Lt. Col. Vindman testified that this is basically what happened with the “transcript” of Trump’s Ukraine call.

This is just stunningly bad for the White House. A full on cover up.

Man, I hope the Nixon estate is getting royalties off this reboot

Nixon released his own transcripts of the Oval Office tapes — which turned out to be wildly misleading. ~ NYT

How long did the Jonestown folks stay committed to Jones?

  39. Uh, no, Emery, Vindman did not attempt to “restore” anything. He sought to alter an existing transcript.
You know how this works, right? They have three people transcribing. After the call, they compare notes & reconstruct the conversation. Vindman heard things that other people did not.
He is also suspected of leaking classified conversations. That’s why Schiff would not allow him to answer GOP questions about who he had talked to — he would have either had to confess to leaking or perjure himself.
If you weren’t so gullible, you wouldn’t fall for this shit.

  40. Lindsay Graham says if the house impeaches Trump, not a single Republican in the senate will vote to convict. If McConnel has the votes, he may immediately dismiss the impeachment referral.

  41. Jonah Goldberg is a #nevertrumper who says that Trump should be impeached. Goldberg swallowed the “Russian collusion” hoax hook, line, and sinker.

  42. @PB:
As to Ukraine: Bribery, wire fraud, conspiracy.

As to the Russia investigation: Obstruction of justice.

As to the Stormy Daniels payoff: campaign finance violations, conspiracy.

Lots of potential jail time there.

  43. You are being ridiculous, Emery. If Trump is guilty of using his constitutional power to do anything you’ve listed, so is Obama and every other president, living and dead, going back to George Washington.
    You need mental help.

  44. I do think we will see criminal prosecutions related tot he Russia investigation, but it won’t be Trump in the dock.
