Berg’s Seventeenth Eighteenth Law Is In Full Effect

A mass shooting in München (Munich) is just breaking.

Motives are nowhere close to being known – some sources claim “terrorism”, others are invoking Anders Breivik the anti-immigrant Norwegian who killed 70+ a few years ago.

Berg’s Eighteenth Law is iron-clad.

UPDATE:  Hmmmm:

A witness who wanted to be identified only by her first name, Lauretta, told CNN her son was in the bathroom with a shooter at the restaurant.

“That’s where he loaded his weapon,” she said. “I hear like an alarm and boom, boom, boom … and he’s still killing the children. The children were sitting to eat. They can’t run.”

Lauretta said she heard the gunman say, “Allahu Akbar,” or “God is great” in Arabic. “I know this because I’m Muslim. I hear this and I only cry.”

Again, Berg’s 18th Law is in full effect.  It’s entirely possible the killer is a Christian NRA member from Texas driven crazy by Trumpism and hatred of Obama and black people.    We are assured that a wave of such violence is around the corner – for like 20 years now.

The major media is never to be trusted for fast accurate reporting on these sorts of stories.

Never!

But if true…

  1. Geez, Mitch, you get more comments on a 18th Rule closed post than most of my active ones.

Does anybody else think it’s weird that German police – the same people who covered up attacks in Cologne – keep saying the new attackers have no link to ISIS? What, like they didn’t carry membership cards in their wallet? The entire point of 4th Generation Warfare is distributed networks of active agents acting independently in furtherance of a common goal, in accordance with general guidance issued by the Central Command but no direct control. How certain are the police? And how credible are they?

Not closed – the comment section just paginates at 50.

I think I’ve closed perhaps three posts to comment, ever.

  3. The Ansbach atrocity is yet another example of something I’ve been saying for a while; you cannot do good background checks of refugees for the simple reason that you don’t trust the government that was either trying to kill them, or was tolerating those who were trying to kill them, to keep good records.

Why this basic fact is not graspable by the left is beyond me.

  4. I wish I could argue with you on that one, POD. There is certainly some weird compulsion on the part of politicians, perhaps for votes, that leads them to ignore basic safety questions when it comes to immigration.

And a correction; since Merckel is CDU, not SDP, this idiocy exists on the right as well, sad to say, along with too many GOP legislators in our country.

  5. Just checking in to see if eTASS had provided a link… Nope? Just as I always suspected – his shit come out of both ends. How very erudite.
