Check Out The Crazy Wingnut!

His answer on “when was the world created?” flirts with Creationism and “Intelligent Design!”

Oh, those bitter freaks, taking solace in Jeebus!

  1. There is a problem with too literal a faith in anything if it requires you to believe things which are not true — dinosaurs were not ‘Jesus horsies’, and the earth is 4.5 billion years old, not 6,000 years old; Creationism is crap science, and the Theory of Evolution is correct. If you support the Tea Party revision of history, that justifies slavery as ‘not that bad’, but more of a blessing that brought them to Christianity, or support the assertion that black people in this country were better off under slavery than modern living, or the rejection of what science has to teach, then that isn’t taking solace in Jesus. That’s just being willfully ignorant.

Shame on the right for many of their positions. They are wrong. That includes beliefs that the Loch Ness monster is a living dinosaur, or that temples in SE Asia have pictures of dinosaurs that indicate they were alive in Asia as recently as a few centuries ago – one of Allen Quist’s idiocies. There has been a very sad dumbing down of the right. Don’t try to excuse it.

Change of subject – Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family, and of course to the Mitchketeers. We all have a lot to be thankful for, including each other as opposition in the adversarial process of refining ideas and beliefs.

  2. Dog Gone believes the most ridiculous things about conservatives.

Obama, in print, has said that he believes that Jesus Christ is the son of God, that he was crucified, died, and resurrected, and that this was done to redeem him — even though it happened 2000 years ago!
    What a crazy guy!

  3. Jackson, the eldest son of the civil rights leader, has been on medical leave since mid-June and has been treated twice at the Mayo Clinic for bipolar disorder.

At the same time, Jackson was the subject of two separate investigations of wrongdoing.
    http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2012/11/21/jesse-jackson-jr-resign-congress/1719963/
Without question Dog Gone would have voted for Jackson over a person who opposed abortion.
So let’s cut this crap about how carefully and judiciously the Democrats choose their representatives compared to the GOP, okay? It is extremely tiresome because it is not worth the effort of refuting.

I have never once heard that any Tea Party person believes slavery “was not that bad, but a blessing that brought them (who? blacks?) to Christianity” or that blacks were “better off under slavery than modern living”. LINK PLEASE.

And rejecting what “science has to teach”, in terms of global warming/climate change, that’s because, as has been refuted hundreds of times, and has been shown to be fraudulent data, and outright lies, IT AIN’T SCIENCE. And sticking your head in the sand and saying “IT IS BECAUSE SCIENTISTS SAY SO AND YOU ARE TEH STUPID FOR NOT BELIEVING THEIR MESSIANIC PROPHECIES” doesn’t make it science. When you are presented with incontrovertible evidence of data manipulation and you STILL choose to ignore it, that makes you worse than you claim our side to be.

  5. Dog and all other Democrats believe that life begins at age 1 day, and not sooner. Dog and all other Democrats say that a baby does not have a different blood type from her mother, nor does the baby girl have a DNA that is different then her month.

  6. I can find the age of the earth by accessing Google on my iPhone via the cellular network provided by Verizon. I can do this because smart people used science to create these things. I can access Mr. Rubio’s inane answer via the internet on my tablet because many science-believing innovators are interested in making money. When they create things, using science, they increase America’s output and contribute to the country’s economic growth.

  7. Geez, Doggy, do you ever fact check your crap before you illustrate your total ignorance?! You do know that it was African tribes, that enslaved their enemies for centuries and introduced slavery to the white man, don’t you? In fact, it is still happening today. If we want to really look at that FACT, the black sycophants that voted for your messiah just because he’s half black, yet wouldn’t associate with him on the street if he was just hangin’ in the hood, would never acknowledge it, lest they lose their excuses to get freebies from the evil white man as reparations! But, hey; keep your head up your back side, because that’s where your logic comes from anyway!

  8. And women, if they have unprotected sex, may grow a complete second nervous system, which does not provide them with sensory information because its hooked up to a second, independent brain.

  9. He can’t say for sure when life begins, but is comfortable with the arbitrary choice of a timeframe in which it may be intentionally terminated.

That logic certainly trumps conflicting theories on evolution. A lot more dangerous too, at least to those who aren’t lucky enough to make it out of the womb alive. Wait a minute … I think President Obama has a position on that, too. Nevermind …

  10. Here is an example of why I am a AGW skeptic:
    http://climatechange.worldbank.org/content/climate-change-report-warns-dramatically-warmer-world-century
You would think that a story like this would include some actual science. It doesn’t. It is all policy recommendations by a group that wants money — money from workers who have a hard time paying their bills and planning for their retirement. This money will be handed out to others based on criteria the AGW fanatics decide upon.
Let me emphasize this: THERE IS NO SCIENCE IN THIS ARTICLE.

  11. If you support the Tea Party revision of history, that justifies slavery as ‘not that bad’,

This is breathtakingly moronic, and an outright lie.

There is no excuse for this kind of bullshit.,

Seriously, DG, get a fucking grip.

  12. Hey Dog Bone, can you point me to the comment section where you clarified why you thought the Cornish bill was “crap legislation?” I must’ve missed it.

  13. Mr. Hittner, there seems to be a lack of journalistic integrity in the FuffPo article you linked to as well the WorldBank I linked to. Advocacy for a political position should not masquerade as objective reporting.

The article by Trymaine Lee at HuffPo isn’t even a real story. Lee has done no original reporting, instead he’s cut-and-pasted other people’s work from mostly left-leaning publications to create a narrative that pushes his own POV on an uncritical reader. Aside from the Salon piece, the articles that Lee links to tell a much more balanced story than Lee tells himself.
In his HuffPo biography, Lee identifies himself quite openly as an advocacy journalist: ‘He is a senior reporter at the Huffington Post covering national stories that impact the black community’.

  14. Terry, try these on. Please focus on the stories. If they are not accurate, say how that is so. Ad hominum will not win your argument.

I don’t know if all of these guys are Tea Party member or not. However, they are all conservatives. I also don’t know if there is fire here ot not, but there seems to be a lot of smoke.

  15. Mitch, will you please ban DG.

It is obviously not interested in debate.

You do not owe anyone anything here, it is your place.

People crapping on it for their pleasure is not something you need tolerate.

    Very well.
Confessions of a Frustrated Conservative.” He seems to believe blacks are lazy (as Romney spokesman John Sununu said earlier this week),

This is a lie. It did not happen (note the author knows that it is a lie. He gives no reference).
Like the Lee piece this is not real reporting. It is commentary on on another commentary, for God’s sake.
Look, Mr. Hittner, politicians and bureaucrats of both parties say really stupid things all of the time. The question is whether the stupid things they say fairly or unfairly characterize their beliefs and the beliefs of the people they are associate with.
In the <Commercial Appeal article about the Tea Party activist in TN defending the Founding Fathers, there is one quote:
” . . . an awful lot of made-up criticism about, for instance, the founders intruding on the Indians or having slaves or being hypocrites in one way or another.
“The thing we need to focus on about the founders is that, given the social structure of their time, they were revolutionaries who brought liberty into a world where it hadn’t existed, to everybody — not all equally instantly — and it was their progress that we need to look at”.
The Lee article from Huffpo only included the first, partial sentence. The second sentence was left out by Lee to make the Tea Party spokesman appear ignorant and bigoted.
