Chanting Points Memo: The Black Bag

You pretty much expect the DFL to lie about things; they’re stuck behind an administration that is becoming less popular daily and a Congress that might, maybe, outpoll Charles Manson.  They’re strapped to a Healthcare bill that is about to blow up in their faces, electorally.

And at a time when jobs are tight and even legal immigrants have had enough of illegal immigration, they are flogging the idea of open borders.

The facts of their own positions are against them.  You can hardly expect them not to aim for the gutter.

This little fella’s name is Robert Erickson.  He joined the Emmer “Cinco De Mayo” parade – but he’s no Emmer supporter:

The handmade sign says Your Papers Please.

The handmade sign says "Your Papers Please".

He writes a leftyblog called “Columbus Go Home” (I’m not going to link it; too depressing).  If you see him at a parade, he should be politely asked to leave.

Since the Democrats have no actual counterarguments, and they’re losing in all the polls that matter, we have to be all the more vigilant about things like false-flag dirty tricks and dumbed down chanting points like these…

Macalester coeds display their solidarity with their Latina sistas.

…aimed at voters who just don’t know any better, it’s vital the Republican activists watch out for things like Mr. Erickson, with too much time on their hands and too little respect for other’s free speech.

WELCOME, “PHOENIX WOMAN” READERS: Glad you stopped by!  Just to clarify, though – whenever leftybloggers say that people like me “seethe with envy” or are “having a cow” or are “melting down”, they are pulling it (to phrase it in Latin, which is so much classier than English) De Anus

Of course, “she” would be accountable for this sort of thing – if she blogged under her actual name.

Perhaps that’s why “she” stays anonymous…

  1. I couldn’t help myself, so I checked out his blog. He writes about himself in the third person. When unclebenjamin writes about himself in the third person he feels like a self-important retard, but maybe it makes Robert feel special.

  2. Kermit never writes about himself in the third person. He has enough hate-filled liberals doing that for him.
    Outsourcing is so convenient.

  3. *sound of tires screeching in a cartoony style emergency braking maneuver or record player needle being scratched off to the side*

    Wait wait wait….

    Robert…ERICKSON?

My, the liberal white guilt must be absolutely CRUSHING his miniscule sense of self. He should put his money where his mouth is and have his name legally changed to Roberto Ericksonato or something.

Say, we haven’t heard from our favorite incensed, costume-wearing New Yorker who likes to speak in 3rd person lately.

Lastly, how long until someone makes the specious claim that hatefully posting a hateful picture of a liberal and hatefully identifying that person will hatefully incite hateful conservatives to hatefully commit hateful conservative violence against the people in the picture, hatefully?

  4. If you see him at a parade, he should be politely asked to leave.

Which will result in the self-aggrieved party spewing indignant cries of “RACIST OPPRESSOR CRUSHING MY FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS!!!” faster than leftyblog posts about one questionable sign at a tax protest rally can possibly get written.

  5. He’s the guy who bluffed his way to the microphone at an anti-illegal immigration rally and called for Europeans to go back to Europe.

  6. Ben thinks talking about Ben’s self in third-person is really annoying and Ben would never do such a thing because it is annoying and creepy. Ben is going now.

  7. “Since the Democrats have no actual counterarguments”

You can’t have a valid counterargument without a valid argument.

Also, although I don’t necessarily condone his methods they are not different than those used by conservatives.

  8. He’s the guy who bluffed his way to the microphone at an anti-illegal immigration rally and called for Europeans to go back to Europe.

Ha, ha, thanks for the tip MoN. Here’s the video. Nothing like watching slack-jawed ‘baggers slowly (and I mean slo-o-o-owly) come to the realization that they’ve been duped. I like the nonviolent Tea Party Patriot Non-Elitist Anti-Communist God-Fearin’ Flag Pooper who purt near punches a guy at about 5:30 into the video. Maybe you can have him politely ask Erickson to leave your parade. And by “politely ask “, I mean “brutally assault.”

Is that your best excuse for baseless ad hominem attacks?

  10. Tim,
Now, this might not be acceptable, but I got ask… when you say “baggers” and “tea baggers”, do you mean we should suck your balls or you should suck ours?

  11. they are not different than those used by conservatives.

OK, I give. Show me a conservative false-flag job. I can’t think of any.

And before you answer “Protest Warrior”, don’t. They satirize, but they don’t misrepresent themselves.

  12. You can’t have a valid counterargument without a valid argument.

Of course we do; Obamacare is going to be a disaster, the open border policy already is, and Kelliher’s tax policies are going to shred the state’s economy. It’s a valid argument. You can try to counter it…

…or you can demonize your opponents.

  13. Tim in StP calls others “slack-jawed” in the above comment.

TiSP needs to be reminded that he and his douchebag posse are admitting to being “sack-jawed” every time they refer to others as the “teabaggers”.

  14. “Hmm, counter the argument? Or demonize my opponents? Oh I am so gonna demonize! Bust out the monkey signs Myrtle. Let’s go demonizing!”

  15. “You can’t have a valid counterargument without a valid argument.”

Jesus Christ on a surfboard, Apathyboy, that’s the dumbest thing you’ve ever written. Viz:
Inavalid argument: “I believe that the flying saucer people are crapping on my rug.”
Valid counter-argument: “How did you determine that is was not ghosts who are crapping on your rug?”

  16. Ha Ha, there’s nothing like watching a slack-jawed liberal moron (pardon the redundancy) slowly (and I mean slo-o-o-owly) excrete on a comment thread.
Flag Pooper. That’s pure comic genius. I hope Big MAK hires you for her campaign.

  17. Ha, ha, thanks for the tip MoN. Here’s the video. Nothing like watching slack-jawed ‘baggers slowly (and I mean slo-o-o-owly) come to the realization that they’ve been duped.

In the video I saw, it looked more like there was a collective, silent, motionless facepalm.

Maybe you can have him politely ask Erickson to leave your parade. And by “politely ask “, I mean “brutally assault.”

Thanks for your contributions – and by “thanks for…”, I mean “you should cut back on eating those lead paint chips that lead to…”

  18. paint chips taste sweet like there’s aspartame in them so its no surprise tisp has been gnawing on the windowsill again.

  19. Reason that conservatives don’t do false flag operations is that the smell of hippies makes that a really bad idea…..

….and congratulations again to TISP for demonstrating his rhetorical abilities with the liberal use of sexual slurs. If you’re trying to discredit utterly the idea that liberals can think, Tim, you’re doing a heck of a job.

  20. “Of course we do; Obamacare is going to be a disaster, the open border policy already is, and Kelliher’s tax policies are going to shred the state’s economy. It’s a valid argument. You can try to counter it…”

Wow, I didn’t realize you were speaking so generally. I thought perhaps you had given an argument earlier than that post that you were claiming Erickson was dodging. But I guess you are saying that Democrats have absolutely no counter-arguments for any conservative views?

Obamacare is not going to be a disaster. It would have been a lot of more stable if the public option had been included and there will be new wrinkles but it will achieve its main effect of preventing deaths of American citizens.

You’ll have to clarify on the “open border” policy. As far as I know, there are no Dems calling for repealing all border security.

The state’s economy is suffering enough damage now from Pawlenty refusing to budge on considering alternate sources of income. I would have rather seen Rybak, but I’ll take my chances with Kelliher.

  21. ” . . . but it will achieve its main effect of preventing deaths of American citizens.”
What the heck is a “main effect”, Apathyboy? Is it the same as a “main goal”?
Obamacare was sold on the grounds that it would cut overall costs, prevent medical-bill caused bankruptcy, and cover the uninsured. All of these “effects” can be measured. “Preventing the deaths of American citizens” can’t be proved one way or another, Apathyboy.

  22. apathyboy said:

“The state’s economy is suffering enough damage now from Pawlenty refusing to budge on considering alternate sources of income.”

Yeah, he should have just ignored explosive growth in the state spending and instead made Minnesota a cold California. *rolls eyes* That’s even crazier than wanting Rybak for governor.

  23. ” . . . but it will achieve its main effect of preventing deaths of American citizens.”
If this was said to justify Iraq War there is no doubt Apathyboy would realize that it was a very weak argument, made out of desperation when the facts don’t support your assertion.

  24. “The state’s economy is suffering enough damage now from Pawlenty refusing to budge on considering alternate sources of income.” And the rest of us are suffering from the DFL’s refusing to cut spending, which, surprisingly, has the same effect as finding “alternate sources of income.”

  25. Obamacare is not going to be a disaster
Isn’t faith a remarkable thing? When it’s placed in people, maybe not so much.

I’ll take my chances with Kelliher
I won’t. I’ve been watching the DFL for nearly a half century now, and I have no illusions about them. They are truly transparent (unlike the current occupant of the White House).

  26. I see ayebee has given up on his blurg…no fun asshat dancing by yourself, is it dink?

  27. “And the rest of us are suffering from the DFL’s refusing to cut spending,”

The spending bill they passed included a vast majority of budget cuts that Pawlenty had asked for. Pawlenty refuses to compromise.

  28. Does Erickson think that the Native Americans welcomed European settlers?
I wonder if it has ever occurred to the dim people on the Left why the United States is dominated politically and demographically by people of European ancestry? It ain’t because the Indians didn’t try to throw them out.

  29. I posted a comment on Erickson’s blog:

“European Immigrants are responsible for the worst crimes in human history, including genocide and slavery.”

“The Muslim invasions of North Africa, the Middle East, southern Europe, and India, including their practice of slavery were bad enough. You should have mentioned the Communist mass murders, gulags, prison-states, and displacements of the last century.

If you’re so guilt-ridden about being a European immigrant living in Minnesota, you should lead by example and leave.

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.”

Deleted. From my experience, the left doesn’t like dissent, even on their blogs. Explains dailykos, twincities indymedia, et. al.

The guy’s a lightweight. He engages in safe agitprop. Let him try his performance art at the next anti-Israel demonstration by trying to march holding a sign that reads “Allah gave the Holy Land to the Jews: Qur’an 5:22”.

Let’s see what happens to Erickson *then*.
