According to Marc Maron, Rove committed "Treason" by outing "secret agent" Valerie Plame.
As in, the capital offense variety.
Remember when the Sunni boycott was going to be a mortal blow to Iraqi democracy?
Added it to January 2005.
Keep 'em coming!
I added links to the "Bush+Enron+Taliban" scandal - an oldie but goodie, courtesy of Swiftee.
I got a ton of scandals via email and in my comment thread on Posted by Mitch at 01:46 PM | Comments (0) | TrackBack
Have a link to a "scandal" that was supposed to "rock the administration" a while ago?
Send it in - just put it in the comments. I'll credit you, unless you ask me not to.
My personal goal - to dig a "scandal" per day out of the records of this blog and elsewhere, as well as adding any that come over the gunwale from contributors. So while the pickings will be fairly slim for the next couple of weeks, things should pick up fairly quickly.
I'll be pre-dating material that took place before July 5, 2005; material will be labelled as pre-dated as a general rule. Omissions to this policy are possible, and should be attributed to human error.
Help us fill in the memory hole!
Larry O'Donnell says that Karl Rove "outed" CIA "agent" Valerie Plame - the lowest-impact "secret" "agent" of all time.
For those who weren't paying attention, or were getting the story from Atrios (pardon the redundancy), FactCheck.org goes over the "scandal", as does Matt Continetti, while Tim Graham pretty well hammers the media's flightiness on the facts when it comes to this general thread. As to O'Donnell - let's just say that he's kind of a strange fellow in his own right.
